Building Brands, Websites, and Visual Systems Designed to Perform.
From brand identity and custom websites to marketing and print, I design creative solutions that help growing businesses look sharper, work smarter, and get real results.

The dude over there is me, Kyle Johnston, a graphic designer based in Newburyport, Massachusetts. I specialize in brand identity and custom website design, helping businesses turn big ideas into thoughtful visuals and websites built with purpose.
Before going freelance, I spent years in an agency environment working on creative campaigns for a wide range of clients from startups and growing small businesses to established Fortune 500 brands. That background shaped how I approach every project: with strategy first, strong creative execution, and a focus on real-world results.
If you’re here because you’ve got an idea brewing, a brand that needs a refresh, or a website that isn’t pulling its weight, let’s talk. I genuinely enjoy collaborating with good people and helping businesses grow through smart, thoughtful design. 🤙🏻

FAQs
A quick breakdown of how I work, what I offer, and what the process looks like.
I help businesses look good and work better everywhere their brand shows up.
From brand identity and logos to custom websites, digital experiences, and marketing content, I design cohesive systems that actually make sense. That includes web design, UX/UI, landing pages, ongoing site support, social and campaign graphics, plus print pieces like packaging, apparel, and stationery. Basically, if it’s part of your brand’s visual world, I’m probably down to help design it.
My design process includes discovery, strategy, design, revisions, and final delivery. Every project starts with a discovery phase where I get to know your business, goals, and audience. From there, I move into strategy and concept development, building a visual direction that actually makes sense for your brand. Once the design is locked in, I refine, test, and apply it across whatever we’re building (brand, website, content, or all of the above). Each step is collaborative, with clear checkpoints, thoughtful revisions, and a final handoff that’s ready to use in the real world.
Most branding or website projects take around 8–10 weeks from kickoff to launch. That said, every project (and client) is different. Timelines can vary based on scope, feedback speed, and how much we’re building. I’ll always outline a clear timeline upfront so you know exactly what to expect before we get started.
Design pricing varies based on scope, complexity, and timeline. All projects are quoted upfront with a detailed proposal outlining cost, deliverables, and schedule. I work closely with clients to put together a package that fits their budget while still making sure the scope and investment make sense on both sides.
Custom website design includes strategy, UX/UI design, responsive layouts, and a fully custom build tailored to your brand. Ongoing website maintenance and support are also available to handle updates, tweaks, and long-term site care after launch.
